“I’m sorry, sir. This party is for humans only.” The robot bouncer had the gall to look apologetic as it stood blocking the door.

“What gives you the right to decide I’m not human?” the businessman demanded. “Cyborgs are allowed anywhere full humans are—because we are full humans. This is discrimination!”

“No, no! I just meant you can’t bring your dog.”

Oh. The businessman looked down at Rover.

“Sorry, girl. I’ll see you at home.”

Rover shook her head as he went inside. “This is discrimination,” she muttered.

“Don’t overthink it,” said the bouncer. “I’m not allowed in either.”
